‘Wall Cupboard 01’ plays with the idea ‘cupboard’. Is it a cupboard or are they shelves on the wall? And doesn’t that constitute a cupboard? We leave our curtains open in the Netherlands and through them we look at each other. Of course, this means everything must be neat and tidy, otherwise what will the neighbours think?!

This cupboard was made to make things easier. The wave in the top creates storage space for things like bills, scissors, keys, etc. Giving this stuff a place helps keep the house tidy. And thanks to roller blinds, the shelves underneath are out of direct sight. These blinds can be pulled down quickly to conceal the things behind it.
